Brewferm – Sacred Saison – Belgian Ale – Extract to Glass – Part 1 of 2

Brewferm – Sacred Saison – Belgian Ale – Extract to Glass – Part 1 of 2

Use coupon discount code BrewfermBRB10 to get 10% off your purchase!

I brewed this for two reasons:
One – I was curious and love Belgian beers so I wanted to try this.
Two – This is awesome for beginners and home brewers just looking to make a quick and easy brew for friends.

If you are looking for a great Christmas gift for someone looking to do their first beer brew without headaches or problems I would highly recommend this as a first or even a second brew as the quality is awesome and anyone would be proud to share this with friends.

Use coupon discount code BrewfermBRB10 to get 10% off your purchase! The Mother of all starter kits bundle is hands down the best deal as you get 3 brews (4 gallons each x 3) and the bottle capper with the caps!

If you love Belgian beers and want to get your feet wet brewing this is a very cheap way to start and see if you enjoy the basics while enjoying some quality beer that was very easy to make.

For new brewing use the siphon that comes with the Brewferm kit but for advanced brewers with keg systems the transfer pump system is awesome. Transfer Pump system I use is listed here.

Raspberry Blonde Ale – Kveik Arset Yeast – Anvil Foundry – Part 2 of 2

Raspberry Blonde Ale – Kveik Arset Yeast – Anvil Foundry – Part 2 of 2

I always do grain to glass but sadly this one went grain to drain. 🙁

This was about several things:
Testing the Cascade Raspberry Candi Syrup addition
Testing the new Anvil small batch adapter for increased Brew House Efficiencies
Testing PH management between 5.6 to 5.2 for increased Brew House Efficiencies

WOW!!! 85% BHE from this brew
Which means we will need to run some additional tests to see what gives us the best bang for the buck on BHE down the road.

I will update the recipe and details late tomorrow (08-17-20)
DR PH Meter – DR-100 (Amazing PH Meter)

Equipment I used to brew this batch of beer:
Anvil Foundry 10.5 Gallon All-in-One brewing system with recirculation pump kit
Jaded Brewing Scylla
Anvil Small Batch Adapter
Awesome propane burner – Great quality.
Five Star Super Moss HB
Wyeast Yeast Nutrient
Gelatin – cheap bulk for clarifying
Hop filter for brewing
Glass Carboy
Plastic Carboy for measuring
Tilt Hydrometer during fermentation
Best Hydrometer I’ve ever used and a great company
Hop filter for dry hopping
Air pumping to help add oxygen to your wort
