Atom Smasher Oak Aged Oktoberfest Style Lager by Two Brothers Artisan Brewing is one of the smoothest and yet still one of the best Oktoberfest beers of the fall season. Two Brothers Artisan Brewing make some amazingly smooth and delicious brews but when I read that Atom Smasher Oak Aged Oktoberfest was 7.7% ABV I was floored as this amazing craft beer drinks like it is in the low 4% ABV area. Atom Smasher Oak Aged Oktoberfest Style Lager by Two Brothers Artisan Brewing is the only oak aged Oktoberfest styles I’ve seen this year and although I feel the wood age is somewhat overdone by many brewers this one seems like it was soaked in oak just enough to smooth out the flavors nicely with nice aromas of mildly sweet caramel and biscuit malts while the first sips are nice hints of toasted malts, hints of oak with just the right amount of toffee, hops and hints of earthy spices. This amazing Oktoberfest pours a rich amber color with a nice lacey head but at 7.7% ABv and 22.6 IBU this one can easily creep up on you as as it is simply one of the smoothest Oktoberfest brews of this fall season with subtle but complex flavors.

Hop Harvest Oktoberfest by Peak Organic Brewing Company hands down is the best Oktoberfest craft beer I’ve had all season so far, it is simply amazing with lots of great flavor and amazing complexity. As you can see the pour is perfect with a nice 1 inch off white head and a deep golden amber color with an amazing aroma with mild earthy smells including toasty caramel, subtle toasty bread notes and hops with the hints of citrus. Hop Harvest Oktoberfest by Peak Organic Brewing Company’s tastes exactly as it smells with smooth caramel malts, mild biscuit malts, earthy notes with surprisingly spicy hops and hints of pine resin and grapefruit. with a crisp finish. Shockingly this bold flavor filled Oktoberfest brew is very sessionable at only 4.9% ABV with tons of complex smooth flavors. If you are looking to try an Oktoberfest this is one you must try for the fall season as this is one of the most amazing Oktoberfest craft beers of the year.
